The large diameter gas lens tungsten adaptor is used to provide an inert atmosphere for the welding of reactive metals such as titanium, molybdenum, nickel-based and aluminium based alloys, as well as non-reactive metals like stainless steel.
Tungsten adapters are interchangeable between torch models fitted with CK large diameter gas saver collet bodies, drastically reducing the traditional amount of inventory required.
Designed to be used with push-on style nozzles 28.8mm (1-1/8") diameter, these screens are designed to thread onto the large diameter gas saver collet bodies.
Can be retrofit to most make of TIG torch by fitting the large gas saver collet body and insulator.
