Maxitek MX Self Drilling Metal Plasterboard Fixing supplied complete with pan head screws - also known as Metal Speed Plugs.
Large coarse thread cuts deep into plasterboard creating a positive fix. Flat head sits flush with the plasterboard.
Three-point tip for quick insertion - no pre-drilling required in plasterboard and there is no minimum or maximum plasterboard thickness.
The fixing can be installed with a cordless drill or hand screwdriver.
The fixing can also be used in aerated blocks - 8mm diameter pilot hole is required.
Supplied with 4.5 x 30mm pan head screws, with a PZ2 or slotted drive.
To increase fixture thickness, the fixing casing can be used with any 4.5mm wood screw.
Use where a lightweight fixing in plasterboard is required, such as bathroom accessories, fuse boxes, trunking, lighting, mirrors, signs and bracketry.
Both components of the fixing are zinc plated.
The Maxitek MX speed plug casing is designed for professional use, manufactured from approximately 35% more zinc alloy material compared to other brands, ensuring a much more secure fix with greater pull-out values.
