The Milwaukee PG7 - PG21 step drill has been especially designed for electrical contractors using PG Panzergewinde sizing. PG sizes use a nominal number which corresponds to the maximum cable diameter that can be passed through a conduit.

Due their stiffness they do not flex or wander on the material making them ideal for spot drilling, this also eliminates the need for pilot drilling.
Unique stepped design allows them to drill holes, - even large diameters, extremely quickly. The stepped drilling process prevents snagging and possible injury, also avoiding surface damage and material deformation. As the hole is enlarged step by step, strain is removed from the power tool – often increasing the machines drilling capacity.
