Backing Pads for Angle & Die Grinders

Selecting the correct backing pad for use with your angle grinder can dramatically improve finish and grinding performance. Protrade stock flexible backing pads in a range of sizes to suit applications which allow the pad to conform to the surface of the work material and be able to leave consistent scratch patterns with finer grit sanding discs. In applications where the main objective is to remove stock rapidly, Protrade offer more ridgid backing pads featuring a ribbed surface which uses the raised ribbed profile to deliver a more aggressive grinding action when using coarse grade sanding discs.

  • Free Service: There’s no charge for using Click and Collect.
  • Availability: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Depots: You can collect from any of Protrade’s five depots: Derby, Burton-on-Trent, Chesterfield, Mansfield, or Nottingham.
  • Speed: If the item is in stock, it will be ready for collection within 10 minutes of placing your order.
