308L Stainless Steel Tig Filler Rods 5Kg

This stainless steel 308L is our solid wire for TIG welding low carbon 18CR10Ni austenitic stainless steel grades such as types 301, 302, 304, 305 and cast alloys CF-8 and CF-3. For high temperature applications such as in the electrical power industry, the high carbon 308H filler wire provides better creep resistance than the 308L.

Features:

The weld metal has an excellent resistance to general and intergranular corrosion up to 350°C and also provides good  resistance to oxidizing acids and cold reducing acids.

Predominantly used during the TIG welding process, DC- welding current with a shielding gas argon at 6-12 l/min

This filler wire can also be used during oxy acetylene welding process with the addition of SIF STAINLESS flux.
