CK tungsten adaptors with gas lens screens eliminate turbulence and can save up to 40% of shield gas consumption, they also provide much better shield gas coverage patterns over traditional collet bodies.
With better shielding gas coverage patterns the welder can extend the tungsten up to 6 x the diameter of the electrode beyond the edge of the nozzle.
Tungsten adapters are interchangeable between torch models fitted with CK standard gas saver collet bodies, drastically reducing the amount of inventory required over traditional collet body and gas lens types.
Designed to be used with push-on style ceramic or pyrex nozzles with a 12.5mm (1/2”) internal diameter.
Supplied as standard on all Tigama torches, and can be retrofit to most other makes of torch with the CK standard collet body and insulator.
