Pyrex gas nozzles are generally used for highly-specialized TIG welding applications on micro TIG torches.
The CK large diameter pyrex nozzle features an inside diameter of 1 1/8” (28.57mm) which can be used to provide an inert atmosphere for the welding of reactive metals such as titanium, molybdenum, nickel-based and aluminium based alloys, as well as non-reactive metals like stainless steel.
With the large diameter pyrex nozzle tungsten stick-out can be up to 2” (50.8mm) in certain conditions, this will allow access in harder to reach applications without loss of visibility, it is also great for tack welding outside of an inert chamber and ideal for repairs of small cracks.
Clear pyrex nozzles create excellent visibility of the weld puddle, the nozzles cannot be threaded so it must fitted with the special push-on, O-ring design to hold them in place, this design is a lightweight system allowing for operator comfort and accurate control.
Parts fit direct to the Tigama 230 torch, are also compatible with WP9, 20 type torches.
