The Tigama 230FX is a water-cooled TIG torch engineered for high-performance TIG welding applications, delivering exceptional durability, flexibility, and operator comfort. Designed for prolonged high-current welding, it combines a compact torch body with superior cooling efficiency and outstanding manoeuvrability.
Supplied with the CK Worldwide Gas Saver front-end accessories designed to significantly improve shielding gas efficiency and weld quality. By optimising gas flow patterns, the system could reduce shielding gas consumption by up to 40% whilst at the same time provides a superior coverage of the weld zone.
Improved gas distribution also allows welders to extend the tungsten electrode up to six times the diameter of the electrode beyond the gas cup, enabling better access to difficult joints and restricted welding areas. This performance is achieved when using argon shielding gas in draft-free environments.
The Tigama 230FX TIG torch is designed for maximum versatility and can be retrofitted with traditional 2 Series (13N Type) TIG torch accessories. It is fully compatible with consumables used on the Tigama 9FX and WP20-style TIG torches, allowing users to utilise widely available industry-standard components.
Manufactured to meet the demands of professional welding applications, these consumables are engineered to handle increased amperage requirements while delivering excellent arc stability, durability, and performance.
