What is the Lamello LC P-16 system?

The LC P-16 is a P-system joint for lightweight panels; the “LC” stands for ‘lightweight construction’. It works by securely anchoring in the surface layer with its profile. The integrated P-system groove helps to slide in Clamex P connectors without the time-consuming use of concealed timber edges or glues.

It takes just two to three machining steps with a Zeta P2 or even a CNC machining centre. Thanks to the three different sizes of LC P-16 Connectors, creating joints in lightweight panels is possible.

Lightweight construction offers maximum stability and functionality with minimal use of materials. The use of reusable materials and innovative technologies not only reduces weight and costs but also protects the environment. Whether in the furniture industry, interior fittings, or vehicle construction, Lamello lightweight construction provides flexible, resilient, and sustainable solutions. It opens up new design possibilities and promotes efficient future-oriented construction.

LC P-16 Configurator

How to choose the right LC P-16 connector size

The LC P-16 configurator determines the right product size and milling positions for the respective application.
The LC P-16 Configurator is a specialized tool designed to help users select the correct Lamello LC P-16 connector based on the thickness and composition of their panel materials. Ideal for lightweight construction applications, the configurator evaluates factors such as surface layer and interlayer thickness to determine whether installation is feasible, which connector size to use, and the optimal cutting position. This streamlines the process of creating strong, form-locking joints without the need for concealed timber edging, screws, or glue.
