It is often the case that a single product, derived from solving a long standing problem, becomes the start of a great company. Such was the case when Walter Welsch invented the Dynafile and founded the Dynabrade company.
The Dynafile was unique because it could accept very narrow belts which enabled it to sand weld seams and the long contact arm allowed access into tight corners and difficult to reach places. This narrow belt sander was able to replace hand files in many operations and significantly reduce process times – a strategy that Dynabrade employs to this day.
