Pressure Testers
It is very important that pipework systems are pressure tested to identify any leaks and also ensure that joints will not fail when the system is subjected to its normal operating pressure. Using water and other system compatible liquids to perform pressure tests is preferable due to the fact they are virtually incompressible, therefore requiring very little energy to raise the pressure in the system significantly, allowing tests to be conducted quickly and safely.
