Portable Table Saws
Portable corded table saws offer joiners, kitchen fitters, builders and cabinet makers the ability to make cross cuts and rip cuts in flat sheet material and lengths of timber, with the flexibility of making precision cuts on smaller workpieces such as battens and trim. Featuring a circular sawblade which protrudes through the top of the table, the workpiece is supported by a large stable base allowing almost limitless cut lengths as the material is pushed onto the blade. Side and rear support tables further increase the size of material that can be cut, with adjustable guides and rails that can be set at angles making mitre and bevel cuts possible.
Unique Push Pull table saws from manufacturers such as Mafell, allow the workpiece to be pushed onto the blade when cutting longer lengths of material and the precise action of pulling the blade towards the workpiece for more intricate work on smaller timber components.
Unique safety devices such as SawStop from Festool have made using a table saw safer than ever before. This incredible invention automatically detects when fingers have made contact with the sawblade immediately retracting the cutting tool to prevent injury.
