Cordless Grinders & Cutters

Die grinders and rotary tools are designed to sand, grind and shape using arbor mounted grinding points, rotary burrs and other abrasives. Primarily used in engineering environments, die grinders have always been corded or pneumatic tools; now with the introduction of high capacity batteries these tools have become available in cordless making them even more portable.
Cordless die grinders and rotary tools use a collet system to retain the cutting tool or abrasive and these can vary in size from as little as 0.8mm – 8mm depending on the machine, making a large range of cutting, honing and grinding accessories available to the user. In applications where an operator may be grinding inside a cylinder or internal corner some die grinders have a long, narrow nose to help with access to the grinding face. The speed of cordless die grinders and rotary tools can vary greatly, with some machines having a no load speed of over 30,000 rpm, this makes the pairing of the accessory essential for performance and safety reasons.
