Product Overview

Manufacturer: Maxitek

  • Maxitek professional quality 160mm diameter x 2.2mm kerf x 20mm bore x 48 teeth tungsten carbide tipped plunge saw blade for a fine and clean cut in veneered, coated and laminated panels, solid wood and board materials.

20mm bore size; compatible with any brand of portable saw with a 20mm bore. Also supplied with a 16mm reducing bush for saws with a smaller bore diameter.

2.2mm kerf – the saw blade is comparable with the Festool 491952 blade for the older models of TS55R and TSC55R plunge saws, manufactured pre-2021, as well as the original TS 55, ATF 55 and AP 55 saws.

48 teeth with alternate bevel tooth configuration for clean and splinter-free cross cuts in solid wood as well as for coated or veneered panels.

Saw teeth made of high-quality carbide – for optimum saw progress and perfect cuts.

Maxitek saw blades feature the same colour coding as Festool saw blades, to make it easier to select the correct blade – yellow is for cutting wood.

    Main Applications

For clean and splinter-free cross cuts in solid wood as well as for coated or veneered panels.

Furniture manufacturing, panel cutting and kitchen fitting.

Perfect solution for precise, efficient work when used together with older models of Festool corded TS55R and cordless TSC55R plunge saws.

Field tests have proven that the Maxitek range of circular saw blades are a credible alternative to original Festool plunge saw blades.

“Very impressed – blindfolded I’d not be able to tell the difference to a Festool blade.”

“It is easily on par with the Festool one for the cleanness of the cut.”
