Optrel Crystal 2.0 PAPR ADF Welding Helmet 2/4-12
Driven by the will to give welders a better working life, Optrel has researched into new technologies for years to improve welders’ vision. Thanks to Crystal Lens Technology (CLT2.0), Optrel has now achieved a quantum leap that will revolutionise the welders’ vision. For the first time in the history of welding, the welder can now clearly see the joining process as it actually takes place. They can see how the weld pool melts and how the weld seam is created. It’s also now possible to see how the filler material is immersed in the welding pool and have gained complete control over the work. Thanks to CLT, the welder can clearly see where the weld needs to start and where it ends. You can see grains and marks on the workpiece during welding. No more annoying interruptions to check the position of your welding torch. With the crystal lens technology you will recognize the difference immediately when putting the welding helmet on. The colour perception in light state is almost like looking through clear glass window and when in dark mode the welder will enjoy a detailed and high-contrast view of the welding pool with a never-seen-before clearness.
The Optrel Crystal 2.0 is a welding helmet equipped with the new CLT auto-darkening technology. This gives you a visual impression comparable to that when looking through a window pane. In fact, 92% of the visible colour spectrum corresponds to that of a neutral window pane. This also has a positive effect on the brightness level. With a protection level of 2.0 in its light state, you can see your working environment as if you were not wearing an auto darkening lens at all.
Superior visibility before and during welding dramatically increases your safety at work. No stumbling, No unintentional contact with dangerous workpieces and fewer injuries.
Adaptive protection level control sets the right protection level automatically in a range between 4 and 12. This is ensured by an additional brightness sensor which measures the intensity of the welding arc. This means that you are perfectly protected at all times, no matter what parameters you are welding with. Manual adjustments are no longer necessary
Brightness level: The crystal 2.0 sees Optrel beat the best brightness level, which it set itself and which had never been achieved previously. Light transmission in the inactive state is now 31%.
True colour: As far as always, the distinction can be seen upon taking a closer look. With the crystal 2.0 you will recognise the difference immediately when putting it on. The colour perception in light state is almost like looking through clear window glass and in dark mode you enjoy a detailed and high-contrast view of the welding pool with a never-seen-before clearness.
Heat-reflecting paint: Helping you keep a cool head at all times.
Two channel air distribution: This unique internal design presents clean air to the mouth and nose, plus up to 20% of the air flow can be divert on to the forehead for cooling depending on environmental needs or personal comfort preferences This improves the overall comfort while reducing fatigue over time. depending on environmental needs or personal comfort preferences.
Sensor slide: Set the sensor detection angle individually to your requirements
Twilight function: Unlike other adaptive lenses that rapidly return to light, the twilight feature light more naturally after the weld is complete, this presents a smooth transition for the eyes. This unique feature will reduce your eye fatigue and help you work longer and much safer.
Patented excentre: Positions the helmet optimally on your head – with just one twist.
Sensitivity control: Adapts the helmet to your environment and requirements.
Comfort headband: Offers an optimized weight balance to protect your neck and your back.
