At the heart of Weldcap® is the optical unit featuring a well-defined nose cut out. This allows the auto darkening filter to be placed closer to the eyes than a traditional welding helmet, increasing the welder’s line of sight by 2.7 times! This improved peripheral vision reduces the feeling of tunnel vision and opens up the surrounding work area, reducing the chance of colliding with beams and other previously hidden obstacles – thus improving safety.
The replaceable mask material PA6, flame inherent double layer textile part is robust and easily detached, and washable up to 40 times.
The Optrel Weldcap® is completely hygienic and classified for EN 379 and EN175 F.
