The cutter neatly cuts grooves to accept 15mm intumescent strip, for an effective barrier to both fire and smoke. If a 20mm groove is required, simply make a cut using the 15mm cutter and then set the depth 5mm lower to complete the 20mm width of cut.
Bearing guide ensures an accurate and consistent 4mm depth is always achieved to meet stringent fire regulations.
The ¼” shank allows the cutter to be used in a small router or trimmer, for easy control.
The position of the recess can simply be altered with the plunge depth of the router.
