Product Overview

Manufacturer: Miller

  • The Miller Maxstar 210 DX  provides maximum flexibility by automatically connecting to any input power while maintaining the best DC TIG welding performance in its class. Miller’s Autoline™ automatic input voltage sensing allows the Maxstar 210 DX to be hooked up to 110 volt to 480 volt, single phase or three phase, input power without manual linking. LVC™ Line Voltage Compensation keeps the output of the power source constant regardless of fluctuation in input power +/- 10%.

    Features;

    Blue Lightning™ high-frequency (HF) arc starter for non-contact arc initiation, provides more consistent arc starts and greater reliability compared to traditional HF arc starters.

    Pro-Set™ eliminates the guesswork when setting weld parameters, use Pro-Set when you require speed, convenience and confidence of pre-set controls. Simply select the feature and adjust until Pro-Set appears on the display.

    Sleep timer conserves electricity. This programmable feature will power down the machine if it sits idle for a specified time.

    Pulse setting in DC TIG with a pulse range of 0-500 PPS helps to increase puddle agitation, arc stability and travel speeds while reducing heat input and distortion,  provides an exceptionally smooth and precise arc for welding exotic materials.

    Fan-On-Demand™ power source cooling system operates only when needed, reducing noise, energy use and the amount of contaminants pulled though the machine.

    Update and expand, the front panel memory card data port provides the ability to easily update software and expand product features with the latest software updates and expansions.

    Full trigger options available with preflow and post flow options.

    Wireless remote compatible with Miller wireless remote control solutions, eliminates problem cables and allows you to work the way you like.

    Wind Tunnel Technology™ is an internal air flow system that protects electrical components and PC boards from dirt, dust, and debris, greatly improving reliability.

    Thermal Overload Protection ensures that the internal components are protected from damage by thermal overload protection which automatically shuts down the unit if duty cycle is exceeded or air flow and cooling are restricted.

    DIG control allows the arc characteristics to be changed for specific applications and electrodes. Lower the DIG setting for smooth running electrodes like E7018 and increase the DIG setting for

    stiffer, more penetrating electrodes like E6010.

    Hot Start™ adaptive control provides positive arc starts without sticking.

    Stick-Stuck detects if the electrode is stuck to the work piece and turns the welding output off automatically, so that the electrode can safely and easily be removed, menu selectable.
